Approach
Curiosity and lifelong learning are the foundation of everything I do. They're why I stay current with software, pick up new tools quickly, communicate well, and bring energy to teams. They're the basis for how I lead, collaborate, adapt, and stay creative.
The people I work with and what we're building matters just as much as the work itself. I do my best surrounded by folks who value honest feedback, creative collaboration, and genuine passion.
When I'm leading, I get clear on our goals, then work with the team to figure out the best way there. I’m pretty experienced in leading teams that are comprised of all sorts of people too, so I know how to get the left brainers to work with the right brainers - and walk away satisfied. When I'm not at the helm, I sit quietly, take it all in, then find the insights and synthesize the options. I'm often the person who says the thing that makes people go "hmm… yeah!"

SKILLS
I've spent years mastering Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator—they're my go-to tools. I'm also versed in Premiere, the Adobe tablet apps, and yes, I can navigate Microsoft Office (including Powerpoint, unfortunately). I am consistently training myself how to prompt, then curate work through AI. Heck, I've even learned Canva and Figma.
I work well with traditional and digital illustration, and have a strong handle on composition, layout, typography, light, and color. I'm good at solving creative problems, especially the tricky ones that need a fresh perspective.
I'm also comfortable with social media strategy and extending brands across platforms in ways that actually make sense.
Oh, and I can fix bicycles...though not very well.
Awards
I got a bunch. A couple are for illustration, most for design and campaigns. Heck, I even have one for a short video I worked on. If you’re this far into my page, hopefully you are like me and you think awards are nice, but they never reflect ROI and they are often subject to the judges whims and sensibilities.
